Historical Society Entrusts Irreplaceable Documents
To DocuScan USA For Future Preservation

In late 2003, the staff of DocuScan USA was entrusted to handle and process the electronic scanning and archiving of more than 125 years of print editions of The Lititz Record for the Lititz, PA Historical Foundation.

We believe the following comment speaks highly of our ability to carefully and thoroughly convert this important historical and chronological information from a format of the past (aging newsprint), to a digitally-scanned and archived format which can be preserved and accessed by generations to come:

“Many thanks to DocuScan USA for capturing thousands of frail newspaper pages that most certainly would have crumbled away, leaving a void in our community’s history we could never recover” - Henry Gibbel, Facilitator.

Over the years, the work of DocuScan USA has also included old township and county meeting records, out-of-print books, plot plans and other information which we have scanned, indexed and reproduced either on CD or placed on the Internet for ease of access.

Additionally, we have worked to protect older original documents and public records from catastrophic loss due to fire, flood, theft or age, by having this valuable and irreplaceable information compiled into a CD library or securely stored on a computer network at an off-site location of our customer’s choice.

DocuScan USA can offer you a positive solution to your document storage or imaging needs, giving you added cataloging space but more importantly a greater “peace of mind.”

Feel free to give us a call, to discuss your next document archive or preservation project!
